According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic press centre, the second stage of YugAgroHolding greenhouse complex for protected ground vegetables is planned to be set up in Petropavlovsk Cossack village (Groznensky district of Chechnya) in I quarter of 2019. The complex is a prior investment project for the region.
“Among the events to support import substitution in Petropavlovsk Cossack village the second stage of the complex will be set up in I quarter of 2019. The complex will provide year-round vegetable production on the area of 10 ha. The project involves protected ground vegetables production with soilless small-capacity growing practise with the system of drip watering and assimilation lighting”, the report says.
It has been specified, the complex will provide 200 workplaces, it costs 2.4 bln RUB. “Greenhouse facility will reach its project capacity by the end of 2019. The project will allow to provide 180 additional permanent workplaces in the region. Total funding allocation compiled 2.4 bln RUB “, press centre representative added.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the region, project implementation started in March 2018 by the YugAgroHolding company initiative. The pay-back period is about five years. The project was included into the list of prior investment projects in the republic due to its high social significance for food supply security of the region.
