Small cooperative farmers and large holdings alike received loaned funds at preferential rates.

We also note that in 2017, more than seven billion rubles were invested by firms such as “Solnechny Dar”, “Dolina Solntsa”, and “Vesna”.

“Total investment credits received in the region totalled 12 billion rubles. Greenhouse agriculture remains one of the most investment-intensive industries in the region” noted regional First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sergei Izmalkov.

As early as September, over 400 applications had been sent by Stavropol farmers to the Ministry of Agriculture. It was reported earlier that 2,2 billion rubles had also been previously invested in the development of dairy farming in the Stavropol territory.
