New greenhouse complex with the area of 20 ha will be constructed in Sunzha district of Ingushetia. The complex is aimed at perennial vegetables growing, it will operate based on the technology with the utility of grow trays with nonground (coconut) support medium and supply of nutritious solution by a computerized system.
The greenhouse complex will produce from 10 000 to 23 000 tons per year. Makhmud Malsagov, Acting Executive Director of Agricultural plant Sunzha, notices that the plant will provide cucumbers (mostly) and tomatoes. He explains that the company will define their correlation in the production process in accordance with the market demands. According to Makhmud Malsagov, the construction site has already been provided, the development of the design estimate documentation is in the process at present. Project implementation is planned for 2019-2025, investment volume – about 4.8 bln roubles.
Cucumbers and tomatoes grown at agricultural plant Sunzha will be sold under the brand Russian Vegetables, the accent will be made at the central Russian regions.
Besides, to provide the facilities with electricity the investor will construct a power substation in Sunzha district. Estimated cost of the substation is 1 bln roubles. Russian demand in greenhouse vegetables is satisfied by 95%, demands in tomatoes – by 65%, as informed by Natalia Rogova, General Director of Greenhouses of Russia. However, the experts consider growing other cultures economically not profitable.
