According to the project Agriculture Products Export, grain harvest in Russia in 2019 can compile 114.3 mln tons, by 2024 it will rise to 137.5 mln tons.
“Gross output of grains and pulse crops will compile 114.3 in 2019”, – says the document.
The harvest is expected to reach 118.1 mln tons in 2020, 120.1 mln tons in 2021, 124.6 mln tons in 2022, 131.1 mln tons in 2023, 137.5 in 2024.
To achieve these figures the project includes annual reactivation of dropped out agricultural fields to grow soy, corn, rape and rice for export.
Grains and pulse crops acreage is planned to be increased up to 47.8 mln ha in 2019, 48 mln ha in 2020, 48.5 mln ha in 2021, 49 mln ha in 2022, 49.5 mln ha in 2023, 50 mln ha in 2024.
Earlier Dmitriy Patrushev, Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, at the meeting with Vladimir Putin said, the grain harvest in Russia reached 110 mln tons in 2018. Thereby the grain harvest was at the predicted level. According to the Russian Federal State Statistics Service, net grain harvest in Russia in 2018 equalled 112.8 mln tons. The record was set in 2017 when the harvest reached 135.4 mln tons.
Oil-plants forecast harvest
The document says, oil-plants harvest in 2019 will equal 19.6 mln tons. According to the project, this index can increase up to 22.7 mln tons in 2020, 25.8 mln tons in 2021, 28.8 in 2022, 31.9 mln tons in 2023, 35 mln tons in 2024.
The volume of agriculture products export can grow up to $45 bln by 2024. The document states, in the given period grain export will increase from $7,6 bln in 2019 to $7,9 bln in 2020, $8,3 bln in 2021, $9,1 bln in 2022, $10,7bln in 2023 and $11,4 bln in 2024.
Furthermore, fat-and-oil industry export will increase up to $8,6 in 2024 while in 2019 it equalled $4. In the given period seafood export will rise from $5,4 bln to $8,5 bln, meat and dairy products export will increase from $1,1 bln to $2,8 bln, food and pharmaceutical industries export will rise from $3,7 bln to $8,6 bln.
