The final collegiate organ meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia took place in Moscow. The meeting covered the outcomes of 2018 and goals for the new period of time. The Governor of the Stavropol region, Vladimir Vladimirov took part in the meeting.
The Governor pointed out that the region is economically stable. In 2018 companies’ revenue increased by 16% and amounted more than 140 b roubles. Profitability grew by 5% in average. 50 large projects have been implemented in the region for the last several years, 49 b roubles of investment have been attracted. There are 23 more large ongoing investment projects with the total value of 47 b roubles.
“Agriculture has a goal to produce value-added goods. We are achieving it with the help of amelioration development, cotton and lamb production, greenhouse vegetables farming among others”, said Vladimir Vladimirov.
The Head of the region introduced some federal measures of support for agriculture. They include preferential loans for agrarians, engineering infrastructure for investment sites. These and other offers will be considered in the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
As informed earlier, Vladimir Vladimirov attended the meeting with the President of the Russian Federation and reported on the implementation of the May decree. Besides, he pointed out the increase in tourists flow to the Caucasian Mineralnye Vody.
