An official ceremony for the beginning of construction on the third and fourth phases of the “Solnechny Dar” greenhouse complex, a part of the “EKO-Culture” group of companies, will be held on 16th November 2018 in the Stavropol Territory. Approximately 15 billion rubles will be invested in the project; its financial partner is Rosselkhozbank.

The enterprise will be located in the Izobilnensky district, in Solnechnodolsk, in the Solnechny Regional Industrial Park. A modern high-tech vegetable production facility is planned for construction on an area of 58.72 hectares. Once designed output capacity is reached, the complex will offer more than 35 000 tonnes of tomatoes of different varieties.

Launch of the third stage is currently scheduled for the third quarter of 2020. The greenhouse complex will work on a year-round cycle and encompass total area of 26.05 hectares. Investment is expected at 7.472 billion rubles, of which 5.827 billion are being obtained from bank financing and the remaining 1.645 billion rubles from company funds. The third stage is expected to produce 14 000 tonnes of tomatoes per year and create 385 new jobs.

The fourth stage of the complex is being constructed on 32.67 hectares and will likewise be used year-round. Construction is scheduled to begin during the second quarter of 2021 and will, upon launch, create 498 new jobs. General capital budget for construction currently constitutes 8 billion rubles, of which 6.4 billion are being invested by Rosselkhozbank and the remaining 1.6 billion by the company directly. Upon completion, it is expected to produce 21 200 tonnes of tomatoes per year.
