Trilateral investment arrangement for 5.7 bn roubles was signed by Ingushetia, the North Caucasus Development Corporation (NCDC) and “Agrokombinat Sunzha”. The resources will be allocated for the construction of the 2nd phase of greenhouses and power substation, as informed by the regional head’s press-centre.
“Agricomplex Sunzha is the largest project in the agriculture of the Republic. 2nd phase construction and commissioning by 2022 will allow to reach self-sufficiency with vegetables and initiate export of competitive high-quality products within the import substitution programme. Before the end of 2021 the square of the complex will comprise 50 ha. Planned output – up to 50 k tonnes of vegetables per year”, informs the press-centre of the Governor, Mr Yunus-Bek Evkurov.
Greenhouse life span is 25 years. The facility will provide more than 500 work places. The construction of power substation Tikhay is planned as well. The station will be linked to the Federal company’s nets.
“Power substation will enable the region to enter the market of power wholesale trade. The price for one kilowatt will lower from 5-6 to 1,5-1,6 roubles. The substation will supply the greenhouse complex and neighbouring companies. As soon as we get available electricity, we will speak about the export. Our vegetables surpass the rival at the Russian market by their taste and ecological parameters”, said Mr Makhmud Malsagova, General Director of “Agrokombinat Sunzha”.
As informed earlier, the 1st phase of the protected ground vegetable farming complex was commissioned in Ingushetia at the end of May. The square of the facility is 10 ha. The first yield of tomatoes at the beginning of May comprised more than 200 kg.
