Import substitution and promotion of the Russian agriculture to the next level is one of the main goals of the Government, the implementation of which is a particularly important for the North Caucasian Federal District and Southern Federal District, one of the most fertile regions of Russia. In the context of the new economic situation, Western sanctions and retaliatory embargo, these regions bear a huge responsibility – namely, to increase the yield, raise the production capacity, for feeding not only themselves, but also other regions of this country.
Vladimir Vladimirov, Governor of the Stavropol Territory, has shared his opinion on the situation, as well as the Stavropol Territory’s strategies of coping with these tasks.
